Is Trey McBride going to be a star for the Arizona Cardinals?

The Arizona Cardinals selected Colorado State tight end Trey McBride with the 55th pick, in the 2nd round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

In this video, I discuss McBride’s skillset, and which current NFL players he might be compared with.

After the initial confusion from many fans after taking a tight end rather than targeting offensive or defensive line, many have come around to the idea of McBride as the tight end of the future for the Arizona Cardinals. He will have an amazing opportunity to sit behind one of the best tight ends of the last decade, Zach Ertz, and learn the trade. Also, with Maxx Williams probably missing a chunk of the early season while continuing to heal from injury, McBride has a chance to be on the field for a good chunk of snaps early on his career.

Will McBride meet expectations and become the franchise player that the Arizona Cardinals have needed at this position for the last four decades? Time will tell, but in the meantime give a watch to The Cardinal Rule as he explains what Cardinals fans can expect from the young player.
