The Arizona Coyotes had given an ELC (Entry Level Contract) to top prospect ad Minnesota Golden Gopher Logan Cooley.
This comes off of a few months ago Cooley saying he would return to U of Minnesota to finish the quest for an NCAA Championship.

Coyotes fans should be absolutely pumped for this arrival! This is a core piece of the rebuild coming up and he currently sits at +1500 for Calder voting (rookie of the year).
The 19 year old was 3rd overall in the 2022 NHL Draft, plays center, and will wear 92 for the Coyotes.
Cooley is a strong 2-way forward who is great at the face off, something the Coyotes have lacked for a good while now.
His last season at Minnesota had him at 22 goals with 38 assists in 39 games played. This is the rebuild and all the pain of the last 2 seasons beginning to show results.
This year saw the Desert Dogs sign feee agents such as Jason Tucker and Alex Kerfoot who will bolster the roster and show fans who may have been turned off by the rebuild that its time to jump on the wagon and tell the world hockey has a home in the desert.
